Our story

Our business sets off its activities in the early 90s, with the formation of the “Water Action Sports School” by Dimitris Zafeiropoulos at Agrari Beach, Mykonos. It was not long before he also became the Founder and Owner of Mykonos Yachting Company.

Certified as a Water Sports Trainer, Dimitris has been involved in the field of water sports and diving activities for many years. During this period, he charted small vessels for those eager to know the wild and unknown beauty of Mykonos island. As a skipper, he was the one who introduced the unseen parts of Mykonos to the visitors of the island. The enthusiastic feedback he received while providing this service was exactly what gave him the motivating power to design and build a yacht that could host more guests.

This led to the launch of Glassbottom Discovery.

A marvelous yacht that has the capacity of hosting up to 80 people and features 10 square meters of glass at the bottom of her salon. This innovation offers all guests an inside view of the magic that lies beneath the sea surface. Her construction itself is a mechanical achievement. Every little detail has been scrutinized and perfected with meticulous care and know-how. Since then, the growing demand for additional tailor-made services made the expansion of Mykonos Yachting fleet quite imperative, and our founder more inspired than ever!

At this very moment, Mykonos Yachting has 9 motor yachts in its asset. All of them privately owned and designed with the most rigorous safety and security standards. They vary from 77 to 36 feet and they are at your disposal 24/7. Our company’s experience has always been our guideline; therefore, we have used our profound know-how to properly adjust all of our yachts to the unique requirements of a cruise at the Cyclades islands.
